Hi Everyone! My name is Chelsea. I have always had a strong interest in working with children and have a fair bit of experience. I spent all of 2014 abroad working as an au pair and when returning to Australia, worked agency in long day care centres whilst completing my university course. I am a kind, friendly, hardworking, fast learning and compassionate person. I started babysitting when I was 15, completed certificate 3 in children's services while in high school, (which included working 1 day a week in a childcare centre) and of course, spending the year abroad working with children. The children I cared for overseas were 2, 4 and 6. For the past few years, I have been mainly working as a registered nurse (including in paediatric and neonatal settings). I will continue to do so, however I have realised how much I miss working closely with families and watching their children grow, learn and develop. I truly believe that we learn as much from children, as they do from us and am really eager to get back into this type of work again.
