A little about me, I’m 32 Australian citizen living in the Inner West, of Sydney. I am currently studying for my bachelor's degree in social work (online mode). I have close to 8 years of experience working with young children (newborn- 6 years) in various nanny positions and worked for two years in a child-care centre as an assistant educator. I share deep and meaningful bonds with the current children I care for, our relationships are built on a strong foundation of safety, connection and secure attachment. My role in caring for children has provided me with immeasurable fulfilment and purpose, I adore my job! I value collaborating with children to explore the world through play and experiences that ignite curiosity and joy. I respond sensitively to children’s needs, thoughts and feelings and encourage their sense of identity and confidence with my warm and positive nature. Georgia Bigelow was employed with our family for over 18 months to take care of our 3 and 7 year old children. Georgia became a beloved member of our family very quickly. Her attitude towards her role was always positive and proactive and the children loved her for it. Nothing was too hard and she created a great sense of fun in the household.
Her interpersonal skills are amazing and she was always professional. Georgie was on time and never called in sick. We cannot recommend her services more highly. Our kids still miss her.
Georgia was a nanny to my two kids for nearly two years. She is one in a million. She is everything you want in a carer. She is enthusiastic, fun, adventurous, trustworthy, kind and gentle. She can be firm when needed (which was necessary with my strong willed toddler). She is creative with play ideas and provided so many stimulating activities for my kids.
My eldest was 18 months when Georgia first started working for us. After our second child was born, she started looking after him when he was 1 month old, so she has lots of experience with newborns. She continued to look after them until they were 3 and 1 years old.
Georgia developed a very special relationship with my kids. She has a natural ability to connect with young kids. I had complete confidence in my kids safety under her care and I would trust Georgia with my life.
