Hi! I'm Kirah, I have invested myself in caring for young children for a couple of years now and over that time have exerted myself in learning new skills to provide the upmost care. I am currently in my second year of my Bachelor of Nursing at uni and hope to go into paediatric nursing once I graduate. I am one of four children in my family, I have two little brothers and an older sister which means I have had my fair share of caring for my siblings throughout my childhood. I grew up moving around a lot due to being a part of a Defence family, I have travelled the world and lived many amazing experiences and I am looking to give back to the community. During my early teen years I did babysitting as my first job, caring for children varying from ages 8 months-12 years. I am currently a Qualified Scout Leader and have been for over two years now, meaning I have experience with caring for and educating children of various ages and abilities. I volunteered at Black Mountain school, with students with disabilities. Throughout my time volunteering here I worked, guided, maintained routine and educated the Black Mountain students with daily tasks, learning exercises, physical exercise and helped to develop social, educational, work and life skills In my time as a Scout leader and Mentor at Black Mountain, I was able to learn to use conflict resolution between children in an efficient and empathetic manner to calm incidents and gain trust. Qualifications: - I have a up-to-date First Aid certificate with, CPR training as well as asthma and anaphylactic management. - Australian Driver's Licence What I offer: I offer casual babysitting jobs, and am currently looking into full/part-time nannying for any families in need. Im a kind and caring, nurturing individual who loves childcare and babysitting and I look forward to meeting you soon! X
