My goal is for parents to experience worry-free time away from home knowing that their children are in competent hands. For 11 years I have served as a childcare educator and a babysitter to numerous families—for which I am happy to provide references—including children from infancy through age 12. From preparing healthy snacks and changing diapers to playing at the park and building forts, I am enthusiastic and supportive in every aspect of caring for children. Additionally, I have experience helping young children through separation anxiety situations, using distraction and refocussing techniques to help kids through those tough emotions. I can totally understand if you are nervous about leaving your kids with a total stranger! With me there is no need to worry at all when I am looking after your kids! I am well equipped to take care of your children. I also am a nurse so I have a very caring and patient nature. If any signs of illness show up I will contact you immediately and go from there. I also have quite a lot of experience with kids with disabilities including kids with autism who exhibit violent behaviors, so I totally understand. We booked Shanice to look after our three children aged 8, 5 and 2. Came home to three happy children who had had a great time, our 5 year old daughter even asked when she could come back again. Would definitely use Shanice again.

Absolutely perfect Nanny. I would highly recommend Shanice . She is always on time and gives me updates on the kids every hour. She has incorporated a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience into looking after my kids. I have a 4 month old, a 2 year old and a 6 year old. She is my first choice of a Nanny. The kids are very comfortable with her so much so that my 2 year old cries for atleast 20 minutes when she leaves. She is a great influence on my kids. She is a true believer of positive reinforcement which is even hard for me having 3 kids!
